Pardeep

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of
Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), having obtained my master’s degree in
education from Thompson Rivers University. I have been working in the
mental health field for 10+ years. I am experienced in working with
individuals and families dealing with cultural issues, depression, grief,
relationship problems and anxiety. I value connecting and building trust with
clients to form a mutual partnership, where we work together to develop
interventions that will aid in the healing process.

In my practice, I value a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy,
where the client and I work together to find solutions to their concerns. I
believe that every person can choose when and how they want to make a
change in their life, as they have the power to control their behaviour. This
can be a difficult concept for many; however, I want to provide individuals
with the skills and resources that can help to empower them to make a
positive change in their life. I provide a comprehensive set of services to
help boost my clients’ confidence and offer support as they navigate their
personal health and wellness challenges. I work with clients closely to
achieve measurable results that allow them to push forward with a new,
positive mindset. Increasing self-awareness, finding meaning in life, assisting
in finding solutions to problems and teaching coping and problem-solving
strategies are core goals that I aim to reach with my clients. Since every
individual is different, their goals are tailored towards each individual and
their needs. Using techniques such as mindfulness can help target issues
relating to depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I value collaboration
and want to be a part of the support system that helps individuals to reach
their untapped potential. My goal is to work alongside my clients to support
them in finding their best self and empower them to build the skills they
need to fulfill their individual success stories.
